...a wonderful brother and my best friend...Marty knew how to make the most of each day.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest.

He was always there to help, to laugh, to talk, to let us know how much he appreciated us.

Marty knew the meaning of life.  He taught us well.

This is a collage of photos of Marty growing up.

It also includes footage of his baseball days

and the family he would eventually have.

Marty was a wonderful father, husband and uncle.

He is sorely missed.

Marty would marry Jill and have 3 children with her, Marc (1984), Brendan (1985) and Jenae (1988).                                                                 He was very proud of them and always looked forward to spending time with them.

Marty was an avid golfer; he would golf almost every Friday after work. This would mean late morning to early afternoons after driving through the night.  A great weekend would mean yet another golf game.

This video was taken during a weekend we both spent in Santa Maria; 2004 or 2005.  It was so hot that I thought I was going to pass out...but I stayed with him until he finished.  I gave up on 6th hole.

Afterwords we went to the Brothers' Restaurant in Los Olivos and had the best salad I had ever had...it was so refreshing!  We each had at least a couple of cold beers.  Nothing sounded better.  I often think of that afternoon and wish I could re-live it.
